SUSTAINABLE GROWTH FOR MISSION-DRIVEN ORGANIZATIONS
Experienced & Versatile Nonprofit Consultant
I help non-profit organizations achieve sustainable growth while staying true to their mission and values. Through 15+ years of experience as both a funder and a grant-seeker, I've gained valuable insight into how nonprofit organizations of all sizes can secure and maintain resources in an increasingly competitive environment. I also bring a successful track record designing, implementing and scaling community programs with measurable impact. I'm a registered Professional Fundraising Counsel in Pennsylvania and an active member of the Grant Professionals Association.
While employed on behalf of the Allegheny County Department of Human Services, I administered a $3.5M federal HUD grant to reduce youth homelessness and planned multiple innovative housing programs through a unique, multi-year partnership with young adult subject matter experts with lived homeless experience.
In my role as Senior Director of Strategic Initiatives at Partner4Work, I led a team that successfully raised $1M in state and foundation grants in under six months to support new apprenticeships and other workforce initiatives benefitting youth and adults in the Pittsburgh area.
As Assistant Executive Director at the Homeless Children's Education Fund, a Pittsburgh-based educational advocacy organization, I designed the agency's first college and career readiness program for teens experiencing housing instability and secured $500K in foundation funds to pilot it.
